They aren’t just lighter, they’re also super-smooth and are especially resistant to corrosion and rust.
Impact Protection Unit 2.0
Our latest IPU – short for Impact Protection Unit – is perfectly integrated into the frame at the headset and protects the top tube from over-rotating handlebars in the event of a crash. The system doesn’t affect the bike’s manoeuvrability – you can still turn the bars far enough to nail the tightest switchbacks on the course.
